On 28th May 2008 we arrived in Atlanta, Georgia, USA to attend the BLADE SHOW. We were not fortunate enough to secure a table, so we decided to attend as enthusiastic visitors, this turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made!
BLADE
2008 was unforgetable, firstly, the sheer size of the venue was
overwhelming, the friendly welcoming by fellow Knifemakers was
heartwarming and the highly competent Organisers ensured lasting
memories of our first BLADE experience.
We were
amazed at the sheer variety of Knives and knifemaking materials on
show and were privileged to be able to "rub shoulders" with some of
the Legends of the Knifemaking World.
A very
special thank you goes to all who were part of this wonderful
adventure, we are already planning our return visit to Atlanta for
BLADE 2009 - who knows, we might even be fortunate enough to secure
a table!
